# Visibility: how AI finds you

> Test how well AI assistants find your business, compare yourself with competitors, and learn what to fix.

<Note>
  Visibility is part of some plans only. If your plan does not include it, the **Visibility** group is not in your sidebar, and the **Visibility** tab in [Insights](/your-business/insights) shows a lock with an example of what you would see. To get it, choose a plan that includes it (see [Plans and trial](/get-started/plans-and-trial)), or choose **Ask us to switch this on** on that tab.
</Note>

[Insights](/your-business/insights) shows what real customers did. **Visibility** answers a different question: *when someone asks an AI assistant for what you sell, does it find you?*

To find out, Aibuku plays the customer. It asks Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini the questions your customers would ask, and records what happens. These are tests, not real customers.

## How it fits together

<Steps>
  <Step title="Describe your customers and their questions">
    In **Prompts** you add the kinds of customers you have, and the questions they ask. See [Prompts and runs](/visibility/prompts-and-runs).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Run the test">
    In **Runs** you start a test. Projects are also checked once a day by themselves.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Read the report">
    **Insights** → **Visibility** shows how often AI mentions you, how you rank, and what to do next. See [The weekly report](/visibility/weekly-report).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Fix your website">
    **Site health** checks your website for problems that stop AI from reading it, and says how to fix them. See [Site health](/visibility/site-health).
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Where to find it

In the sidebar, under **Visibility**:

* **Prompts** — your customers and their questions.
* **Runs** — the tests and their results.
* **Search presence** — how Google and AI answers show you next to the competitors you choose. It appears once you have confirmed your website.
* **Site health** — checks and fixes for your website.

## Two parts of every test

Each run tests two things:

* **Finding your website** — can AI find and read your website, and then point the customer to you? Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini are asked.
* **Using your connector** — once an assistant is connected to your business, can it use your services to help the customer? Claude and ChatGPT are asked. (Your *connector* is the connection between an assistant and your business. See [Connect an assistant](/get-started/connect-an-assistant).) If your project tests your own MCP server instead, this part is called **Using your MCP server**.

Gemini is only asked about finding your website, because its app does not let people add your business's connection.
